Description
In the heart of the old town of Cologne, located directly on the Heumarkt, only a few minutes walk from the cathedral, main train station and the banks of the Rhine, we welcome our guests to the Hotel zur Malzmühle since march 2015. The proximity to the Cologne Exhibition Center, as well as to most of the attractions and the large shopping mile of this wonderful city, makes us popular with business as well as private travelers. Our privately owned house offers all the amenities of a modern hotel, in combination with the charm of one of Cologne's oldest family breweries. The hotel (non-smoking hotel) has 37 lovingly and modern designed rooms in different categories and leaves nothing to be desired. Warm color design, cozy and comfortable furnishing and friendly staff make for a nice stay with us. As a special gift all our guests receive at check-in as a welcome drink a freshly tapped glass of home-brewed Mühlenkölsch. If you like something unusual, you can book a room with beer tap in the bathroom. Upon request, we tap in the bathroom a 5-liter barrel of fresh Mühlenkölsch (surcharge) for self-tapping.
