Altbier is the local beer style that has shaped Düsseldorf for centuries. To this day, it is skillfully brewed in the cellars of the Altstadt's Altbier breweries. Together with our knowledgeable guides, guests delve into the history of Altbier and its connection to Düsseldorf. Why is Altbier a top-fermented beer? How has it captured the hearts of the locals, and why are they so proud of 'their Alt'?

During the two-hour tour, you not only gain insights into the tradition of Altbier, but you also get to try it: Two premium Altbier varieties are tasted during the tour. Following the tour, we head to the Schlüssel Hausbrauerei, where a snack platter and two additional Altbiers await you (already included in the price).
